Meet CESA 11 WSPEI Coordinator Pat Rynda

Pat Rynda is one of  the three Wisconsin Statewide Parent-Educator Initiative (WSPEI) Family Engagement Coordinators for Cooperative Educational Service Agency #11 (CESA 11) in north western Wisconsin. Her role is to create stronger connections and engagement between schools and the families that they serve.
Pat works with directly with Baldwin-Woodville, Durand, Ellsworth, Elmwood, Hudson, Pepin, Plum City, Prescott, River Falls, St. Croix Central, and Spring Valley families and school districts; and also coordinates services to all CESA 11 districts.
In addition to parenting two young adult children (one with special needs), Pat taught elementary school children for 9 years and provided respite and job coaching to an individual with special needs. She served on her county’s Family Support Advisory Committee for several years, and is a long-standing member of her County Community on Transition (CCoT).
As a parent and a teacher, Pat has experienced both ‘sides’ of the parent-school relationship, and enjoys helping parents and educators form strong connections.
